Terms of Service

Michiana Equipment is a retail distributor of poultry and swine equipment. We serve farms and families throughout the United States. We are retail-based and don’t have a wholesale catalog, but if you would like to buy some of our products to sell in your store, give us a call and we’ll try to help you out. We don’t have a set wholesale price but can give you a discount based on the quantity you buy.

PAYMENT OPTIONS & TERMS

We accept all major credit cards, checks, or cash. Payment will be required from first time customers before orders will be shipped. Personal check orders will be held until the check clears the bank. You can then request to set up a charge account with us, if wanted. Our account terms are “Net 30 days” from Invoice date. After the due date, the amount due will be subject to a 2% Monthly finance charge.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

We ship most of the parcel shipments via UPS Ground (Next Day Air is also available). Large items are shipped via motor freight. We try to keep most of our items in stock and do our best to ship your order by the next business day after receiving the order. If an item is out of stock, we will inform you promptly. Back orders will ship as soon as possible.

RETURN POLICY

Please call us for authorization to return any products. All items must be returned by 30 days from the purchase date. Items must be returned in clean, sellable condition. Special orders are not returnable. All returns may be subject to a restocking fee.

DAMAGES

Receiver will have to report any damaged products to the carrier upon receipt. Also be sure to inspect your shipment for any shortages, prior to signing for the shipment. Either way, let us know as soon as possible, so we can make it right with you.

WARRANTY

We will exchange or repair all defective products or equipment for a period of 1 year from the purchase date, in accordance with the manufacturers’ warranty. Warranty covers defects; not misuse, damage, abuse, or neglect of maintenance or use–nor damage due to electrical surges from storms or other acts of nature.

Michiana Equipment is not responsible for misprints in this catalog. Prices, product design, and specifications are subject to change, without notice, based on market conditions and/or availability.
